About the University

The Union University was established in 2005 with the merger of three faculties: Faculty of Construction Management, Faculty of Applied Arts, and Faculty of Industrial Management. Subsequently, the Union University expanded with the addition of the following institutions: Belgrade Banking Academy – Faculty of Banking, Insurance and Finance; Faculty of Law of The Union University (formerly Faculty of Business Law); Faculty of Computer Science; Faculty of Property Management; Faculty of Entrepreneurship and Environmental Engineering College.

The University is located in a residential area in Belgrade, called Senjak, at 29Andre Nikolica Street.

The Union University offers degree programs in four fields: Mathematics, Humanitarian Sciences, Technology and Engineering Sciences, and Arts. Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate degrees are offered. All member schools provide programs that are adjusted to principles of Bologna Declaration.

The University enables students to apply their knowledge and experience in practical fields of education and sciences.

The Union University and its member schools are committed to follow principles of legal and academic excellence, in accordance with traditions and values of the Republic of Serbia and the European Union. The University emphasizes educating its students based on the intentions of the Republic of Serbia to join the European Union (EU), and to accept EU acquis communautaire, rule of law, and to participate in and disseminate the latest developments in the field of science.

The Union Universitycooperates with non-EU member universities as well, and is open for cooperation in education and sciences based on principles of equality, mutual respect and objectivity.

Following the process of reforms in education, which is a step to joining the European Union, The Union University is committed to delivering the highest quality education, by implementing innovative teaching techniques, by hiring the most effective teaching staff, and by demonstrating care and respect for all students. Our faculty members are ready, willing and able to challenge their knowledge on a daily basis, to learn by teaching.

Union University is a private, not state-funded university, and its success depends solely on its ability to provide the best-quality education.

We believe that the quality of the university is measured by the expertise of its graduates and their ability to be trustworthy citizens.
